Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."

We hear so much in this day and time men’s ideas of how the world came into existence. We hear much about how old the world is and how many years it took for earth to appear. Then we hear how man evolved over millions and billions of years to become man. If we question the creation of the heaven and the earth, we will also have to question if there is a supreme power that rules this universe. If there is no supreme power then there is no God, if there is no God then there is no universe. The first words recorded for us to read is, "In the beginning God." If God is true and if God is supreme, why would we go to the foolishness of man to try and find out how the world came into existence. So if God is true and God is supreme, and God has all power and we have his word, why not believe in the creation. If the world was not created, then it brings God down to our level with no power, but that which we would let him have. We read these words, "Let God be true and every man a liar." So are we going to believe God or believe a liar?
