A Sure Place of Safety

In Christ the rock, where God our Creator, has chosen us, and placed us, in safety and security ‘til the great day of our Lord shall come, and all the glory of His perfect, and finished work is revealed: A work to be accepted by the Holy God in Heaven, which was set forth in His Son, a surety, for our sins, and He shall rend the vale of the temple from 'above,' opening the way for all the seed of Abraham by His perfect sacrifice for their sins, making all of God's elect in Christ, to be Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the eternal promise of God in Christ our Saviour (Gal. 3:29)

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:

it is the gift of God: :9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Spinach Lasagna

Ingredients:

1 ½ - 2 lbs ground beef
1 large onion-diced
½ tablespoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons dried parsley
2 beaten eggs
2 ricotta cheese (15 oz ea.)
1 tomato sauce (16 oz can)
1 frozen spinach (cooked and pressed)
1 8 oz bag of mozzarella cheese
1 6 oz bag of parmesan cheese

Cook ground beef, onions, garlic powder and parsley together until browned, then drain. Add tomato sauce to beef mixture, cover and simmer for 25 minutes. In a separate bowl, combine 2 beaten eggs, spinach, mozzarella cheese and 1 cup of the parmesan cheese, then set aside.

In a 9 x 13 casserole dish, layer with beef/tomato on the bottom, 1 container of ricotta cheese, and ½ of the spinach mixture. Repeat layers, and then sprinkle the remaining shredded parmesan cheese on top. Cook at 350° for 40 minutes.

Note: Since this lasagna does not have any pasta, it sets up best when put together the night before and cooked the following day.

Just Thinking                                                            (Editor)

The Lord spent thirty-three and a half years upon this earth; and it is said in Scripture; that of the things which He did: "If they should be written every one, it is said that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written." John 21:25 And if every word and work of the Lord Jesus Christ were put to the test, there would not be a single word which was not fitly spoken, nor a work which was not done in righteousness.

A wise man once said: "We must meet people where they are, if we hope to help them." It is marvelous to me, how our great God meets us where we are: How One whose every word is perfect, and who bows down to us who are wholly imperfect, and simply says: Live!

Praise His holy name!

This is difficult for all finite minds to comprehend. However, all the elect family, out of every nation, kindred, tongue and people will be totally void of all you are aware of while you are living IN TIME.

There is no vain pondering thoughts, pain, trials, troubles; no tribulations, or variations of looks, or weight, height, or figures.

Consider: No RACES, not even any mixtures of nationalities, governments; or any ranks in Governments, Schools, Classes, Teachers.

But here is the absolute truth –

Gal. 3:28 “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.”

"And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying; Save yourselves from this untoward generation." (Acts 2:40)

After repentance, after baptism, after receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, Peter tells them to save themselves from this untoward generation. We have covered a salvation that comes from God through Jesus Christ that we are not active in, then to a salvation that comes through repentance that we are active in, and then a salvation that comes through baptism. After all these deliverances Peter continues to a deliverance from this untoward generation.

Once we have been quickened by the Holy Spirit that we are not active in, then all the rest of these we are active in. The church is a hiding place from this untoward generation, from the pitfalls of the world, from false doctrine, from bad company to good company, from a mind of the world, to a mind in Christ, from living in the ways of the world, to a godly life in Jesus Christ. In Christ there is rest for the soul, there is peace to the mind, and there is comfort even in the mist of tribulations. Jesus has made this statement; "In this world ye shall have tribulations, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." So then we also can overcome the world through Jesus Christ.

Two Streams of Bible
FLIES ARE IN THE OINTMENT AND THEY ARE DEAD

"Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour: so doth a little folly him that is in reputation for wisdom and honour." Ecc. 10:1 God is the apothecary who blends the truth so it will cure the spiritual ills of his children. When the adding and blending process was complete, it became the sin-curing ointment which we call the Bible. When it came through holy men it was pure and was a sweet savour of Christ in the nostrils of God, 2nd Cor. 2:14. But how is it now? It has become contaminated by the dead flies of corrupt human philosophy which has been mixed into the ointment of truth by the skilful, secret application of textual criticism. Dead flies can easily be discovered in the following portions of scripture in the Revised Standard Version. If you have a keen sense of smell, good spiritual discernment, you will be able to find many others also.

RADICAL TRANSLATION OF GEN. 6:3

The King James Version says: "My Spirit shall not always strive with man." The RSV says: "My spirit shall not abide in man for ever." In the first place, the Spirit of God was not abiding within those wicked men to whom this message was addressed. Nor does the Spirit of God abide within any other Christ rejecting person. See KJV in John 14:16-17. "I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another comforter, that he may abide with you forever; even the Spirit of Truth; WHOM THE WORLD CANNOT RECEIVE, for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."

GEN. 11:1 KJV – "And the whole earth was of one language and one speech." RSV says, "one language and few words." One man jokingly said, "There must not have been many women in those days."
